3 Fighting games, which one rules?

Simple really, just pick the one which you think is the best.

In my opinion, Killer Instinct, mainly because they started to make too many Street Fighters and Mortal Kombat is smelly.

my favorite has always been guilty gear. most other games i find reward button mashers, and i hate playing for HOURS and then loosing to five year olds in the arcade.
mortal kombat was my favorite of those though, because fatalities are so fun.

None of them hold a candle to Tekken 3 or 4 if you ask me.

But, I picked Street Fighter for it's old school classiness.

Soul Calibur 2!!!!!!!!

I like how they added heaps of extra features to it- made the replay value of it greatly increase!

I loved Soul Calibur - for a weekend. I should have in retrospect rented it rather than bought it, fortunately I got £32 trade-in for it.

I could cane anyone as Link though, my neighbour has it and I beat him with Link so many times that he actually forced me to use Nightmare.

I love the Street Fighter movies but the Mortal Kombat wins teh gaming vote! I didn't like Soul Calibar because it was just too easy. Good graphics tharr though!

Yeah, Street Fighter is better than all of them, in my opinion. Killer Instinct was fine, played it quite a bit, but I never really played Mortal Kombat that much.

But I agree, this poll needs a lot more choices. :rolleyes:

Mortal Kombat, hands down. I haven't played any Mortal Kombat since my SNES days though. But it was awesome back then. Fatalities... Babalities... it was all good. There were a lot more characters than on Street Fighter too.

SNES = $200 (or something like that)
Mortal Combat 3 = $50

Beating down on Khan and then turning him into a baby = priceless

I never could beat Street Fighter II. You go through the whole freaking game pretty easily... even the 2nd-to-last sub-boss guy is pretty easy if you have any skills. THEN YOU HIT THAT STUPID CHEAT M. BISON! That guy... was a god. You could get him down to 10% health and take no hits. Then he just starts flyin around the screen doing these bicycle kicks of doom. BOOM! You're on the ground in seconds.

MORTAL KOMBAT DEFINATELY!!!!
Its the best, You can fight hand to hand like in tekken, you can fight with special moves and projectiles like in Street Fighter, You can also use weapons like in Soul Calibur 2, AND the movies RAWKED. Mortal Kombat has the best thing of every fighting game packed into one game.:weebl:

I know they're making a 3rd Mortal Kombat film. The first one was okay, but the second was terrible.

I think the key word here is 'classic' fighters. Of which Tekken, DOA etc I don't think apply.

I picked Killer Instinct, because knocking people off of buildings onto a car was great fun.

My favorite is a tie between Tekken4 and Dead Or Alive 2, but out of those I chose Street Fighter. It's THE fighting game, a real classic

ha ha i say there once was a fighting game soo good sooo great they had to stop making it... i cant quite remember the name blood...something..oh well it was to good better then the rest and the real reson it was taken away...it was WAAAAAY to violent and one or two kids got tramatised or something but not me i've had it since i was 6 and im perfectly fine.
i mean i've always loved gore and dead and pain ever since i was born... and i think i used to have teddy bears but my mum said i tore them apart and bite the head off one but im perfectly normal....just different...what?
