Chelsea v Monaco reaction

I, personally, didnt watch the game (Damn ITV for no higlights and Sky for not giving me coverage free)

I'm going to find out on the news around 10'o clock - thats when I will be back to check the posts.

So what do you think of the game? What next? Did they play well/crap?

Should Ranieri be sacked/knighted?

Discuss.............

Don't tell him the score!!!

EDIT/ S'okay now.

Bloody awful. We were up 2 - 0 and going through to the final then Wham!, Blam! and then we're knocked out!

Awful. We can never keep the lead. Awful
I hope José Mourinhos can do a better job, sorry to see Ranieri go when he does though

personally, I think it shows how money can't buy success. Countless millions spent and what has really imporoved? A place or two in the premiership, thats about it. I can't believe that a team with so much cash can have a strike-force that is soo pants.

I cant beleive it

2-0 up as well - Personally I'm dissapointed in them. they had it in their hands and let it slip. Perosnally I back Porto now, which wont actaully be that bad for United fans (IE: Me) because we were beaten by the winners

I do feel sorry for the Chelski supporters and Ranieri

Its shows that muneh cannot buy happiness, just a closer look.

Sadly Sky Sports 'Cry-itius' struck again though, with many fans crying at the sight of a camera. You're not relegated get over it!

I think Ranieri is the one who should be crying. Kenyon and Abramovich will sack him now, being the dipsticks that they are.

Indeed they are. Kenyon was only lured to Chelski by muneh anyway.

I think that by getting them that far he has shown that he is a top man for the job. It is just a shame that a job isnt saf3e there for more than a week. Reports are that if they buy anymore strikers Mutu and Crespo could be in trouble

In the game however I think that Chelsea could have got a little happy to settle for an away goals win and sat back rather than going for a third. Or am I completely wrong and Ranieri buggered up again?

they let in a sloppy goal at the end of the first half, damn you mario melchiot. Wasnt really cause of a counter attack i dont think. So many missed chances and regrets over the two legs

You've got to give credit to ranieri though. I'm surprised they did half as well as they have, with the working conditions he's had. It can't be easy knowing that you're not likely to be manager next season.

It can effect the plyers as well knowing a manager is (most probably) leaving - like Ferguson adn Strachan. Ok, so it wasnt definate and other two were retiring, but it can make you think that there is no point playing your heart out for a boss who is leaving soon

I hear ya, being a Saints supporter. There was just no life in the team when Strachan made the announcement.

But if you were the new Chelsea boss, wouldn't you constantly be watching over yuor back, worrying if you ever slipped up?

a draw was personally th worst score that their could be.
A Chelase Win - Eng team gets respectibale win
A Chelsea Agg Win - Eng Team Goes Through
A Monaco Win - I win Rupies (cheers AP )
a Draw - No Eng Team Victory or Rupies

first of all, gudjohnsen, i'm dissapointed with you're twenty misses, you too joe cole.
gronkjaer, what a goal, come on the gronk, shame about everything else you did though
ranieri must stay if chelsea want to make significant progress, the game was a dissapointment but the season wasnt, i challenge any manager to say they could have done anything better.
NO MORE SPENDING PLEASE
except maybe totti, go the totti
next season then.....
