bonus ball
this used to be played at my old works place a long time ago and i was thinking about trying it here!
its quite simple place your bet on the outcome of the bonus ball on the saturday draw of the national lottery if you guess right you get back 5 times what you bet! just send your donation and number to me MORE THAN ONE PERSON CAN HAVE THE SAME NUMBER! best part is it cant be fixed to make the out come the one that benifits me and also this make the draw the same time each week every week! any one up for a shot? just in case you dont know anything about the lottery it goes a little bit like this; you pick 6 numbers then live on national tv a machine picks out 6 numbers and a bonus ball the 6 numbers are what win the real cash but we are only interested in the bonus ball so pick a number between 1 and 49!

Yeah, nice, I think someone did think about doing this but it was with the whole 6 numbers and they ended up not doing it because just imagine if you picked all the right numbers but didn't put the lottery on...yeah..
So I'll have a shot because this is better done and it won't be such a bugger if you never put the lines on. Although - you never mentioned if we have to donate or anything... what we gotta do there? I'll reserve the number 13 for now anyway.  +ed. edit/ donating 20 rupies on 13 now.

sorry bits added now yes please donate your bet to me and also this saturday will not count you can have more that 1 number and more than 1 person can have a number (if you want you can all have 14 i dont care)

slight addition to the rules there is a maximum bet of £100 and all bets will stop 7,30 every satuday night please note that this saturday WILL NOT be counted just to give this thing a chance

Odds seem a bit crap. The probability of guessing correctly is 1/49 ie 48/49*47/48*46/47*45/46*44/45*43/44*1/43 = 1/49 yet the prize money nowhere near reflects this.
If you want long odds go bet on single numbers in the roulette thread. You've got a better chance of winning and a much higher payout.

and you think winning 2mill for a 1 in 14 million odd of winning is fair?
i did some calculations and using a 2million win to 14million odds and creating a formula of odds to payout ratio to use on this bonus ball game the pay out is about 4.9 ish so i just rounded up plus yarboo sucks to you i just want to have a little fun whats wrong with that?

if i had a scanner i would send them to you a maths lecturer at college and i worked it out because some kid had a "get rich quick" thing going on with the real lottery
but now i see the flaw.... still its not real cash and its all for fun anyway
